Justices of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles acknowledge Myra Mossman, Esq. for her legal skills in handling complex criminal appeals. In recognition of her outstanding work, Myra was appointed four times, for three-year terms, to the federal criminal appellate panel for the Central District of California, which includes the greater Los Angeles area, a focal point for major crimes occurring in the United States.
Ms. Mossman prevailed in a Special Appointment stemming from a District of Guam case. Myra has had numerous oral arguments before the Ninth Circuit, an appearance in the United States Supreme Court, and a number of significant published opinions and notable unpublished decisions.
A solo practitioner with over twenty years legal experience, Ms. Mossman holds two law degrees; the JD from the United States, and the LL.B from Canada, where she specialized in business and international business transactions, in both countries. Myra designed and taught law school courses in federal criminal appellate practice, electronic legal research, and clinical studies. She is a member of the Federal Bar Association. Myra is admitted to practice in Michigan, the Sixth and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Ms. Mossman is a discreet fiduciary, whose handled sizable trusts since 2007. She brings a wealth of understanding to all aspects of trust management. Myra has a Certificate of Fiduciary Management for Trustees, from California State University. Currently, she is only accepting trusteeships for charitable trusts.
Ms. Mossman draws upon other academic and professional accomplishments to facilitate her clients. Myra has a B.A (Honors) in anthropology and is a black belt martial artist, with over 12 years of training. She is an archival hand bookbinder and paper restorer, having worked at the Public Archives and National Library of Canada. Myra is an active member of the Guild of Bookworkers and the American Printing History Association. She has an avid interest in the connection between Kabbalah, The Tree of Life and the Tarot.
